We’re getting ready! Indian Bay Municipal Park will open the gates on the May 24th weekend. We’ll keep you posted on all of the details.
I wish to advise the seasonal campers of the Indian Bay Municipal Park that there will be no increase to fees for the 2024 camping season as per motion of council. Should you have any questions, please reach out to the Park & Recreation Director at (709) 220-8520 pertaining to this motion/notice.
The Indian Bay Municipal Park now has a cell phone on site at the office. Should you wish to reach the park during operating hours (May through September), you can contact (709) 220-8520.
Attention campers! Please use the trailer dump station to dispose of all garbage. The dump station is located directly behind the Indian Bay Town Hall
To enhance the quality of life by providing a safe and well maintained park and public space; providing innovative recreational experiences and social enrichment addressing the changing needs for individuals of all ages. In a variety of attractive trails, landscapes; preserving open spaces and historic resources; caring for people; strengthening the bonds of community; and creating opportunities for renewal, growth and enrichment.
Sites are 40x50 with 4-foot buffers between. 50 water-only sites.
From May thru September. Winter storage available.
Includes parking, river access, swimming, hiking trail access.
Passenger drop-off next to building. Internet access, seating & restroom.
Located behind Indian Bay Town Hall building.
Open for Day Use. Unsupervised. Children accompanied by adult.
Enjoy 1.6 beautiful kilometres. Trail is multi-use (hike or bike).
Centrally located space for outdoor activities and programs. Sidewalk & handrail system.
Located at the front of the park. Open for public use.
Available to guests during seasonal business hours.
Available to tenting users during seasonal business hours.
Vault Toilet. Located adjacent to the playground.
